Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through viba.com (the "Site"), including any sub-pages, application forms, contact forms, and investor inquiry portals, as well as information you provide to us by email or other direct communications. It does not apply to the information practices of third parties whose websites or services may be linked from our Site.
By using the Site or submitting information to us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described herein, please do not use the Site or submit personal information to us.
Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, as well as certain information collected automatically when you visit the Site.
Information You Provide Directly: Full name and professional title; Email address and phone number; Company name, website URL, and description; Funding stage, capital raised to date, and revenue metrics (from the /apply form); Pitch deck, technical documentation, or other attachments you choose to submit; Communications content when you contact us by email or inquiry form; Investor accreditation status and entity information (for LP inquiries).
Information Collected Automatically: IP address and approximate geographic location; Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers; Pages visited, time spent on each page, referral source, and navigation paths; Interaction data such as link clicks and form completions; Cookie identifiers and similar tracking technologies.
Information We Do Not Collect: We do not knowingly collect payment card numbers or banking credentials through the Site; We do not collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, biometric data, or health information; We do not purchase or source personal data from data brokers.
How We Use Information
We use the personal information we collect solely for legitimate business purposes directly related to our operations as a venture capital firm:
Fund Application Evaluation: To review, assess, and respond to applications submitted through our /apply portal. Submitted materials are reviewed by our investment team and may be shared with outside advisers under confidentiality obligations.
Investor Relations: To respond to LP inquiries, provide fund documentation to qualified investors, and administer ongoing investor communications in connection with Viba AI Accelerator Fund I.
Site Operations & Improvement: To operate, maintain, and improve the Site; diagnose technical problems; analyze usage patterns; and optimize user experience.
Legal & Compliance: To comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to legal process, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect the rights, property, and safety of Viba Capital, its investors, and portfolio companies.
Communications: To send transactional and operational communications you request, such as confirmation of application receipt, and — with your consent — periodic updates about the fund and the Viba Capital ecosystem.
Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, and destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit using TLS, access controls limiting employee and contractor access to personal information on a need-to-know basis, and security reviews of our service providers.
Despite these precautions, no security system is impenetrable and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information you transmit to us. By using the Site you acknowledge that you transmit information at your own risk. In the event of a security incident materially affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.
For fund application materials submitted through the Site, we typically retain records for a period of seven (7) years from the date of submission to comply with applicable securities regulations and internal investment record-keeping requirements. Investor and LP records are retained for the duration of the fund relationship and for the period required by applicable law and regulation thereafter.
Web analytics data is retained in anonymized, aggregated form and is not linked back to individual users after the session from which it was collected.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights with respect to personal information we hold about you:
Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our retention obligations described above.

Right to Delete: The right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
